Business as Usual?
Here in Arizona, Real Estate has been deemed essential business. We at the Dana Hubbell Group did not want to assume that the public would feel safe doing business as usual.
As a result we created a COVID-19 Safety Questionnaire:

We have a similar one for a Buyer who might want to ask the same questions to the owner of a home before they go look at it. We thought it might be “too much” but every Buyer and Seller has appreciated it and has had no problem filling it out.
When showing a home, we do not ride in the same vehicle, we meet them there and we do not greet each other with a handshake or a hug. We had masks made and we give them to the clients. We wear gloves and ask the Buyer not to touch anything. This way, we will be the only ones touching the keys and doors. We ask the owner to open all closet doors and cabinets so we do not have to touch. We place opened, Clorox wipes on the kitchen counter in case the buyer needs it. And, we stay 6 feet apart.
